Some of the most awesome collectibles based on The Dark Knight have been coming from Hong Kong toy company Hot Toys, and the trend is continuing with this upcoming Harvey Dent action figure. Featuring an excellent likeness to Aaron Eckhart, the figure will come with two heads so that you can display him pre- and post-evilling. Even better, he’s coming with two suit jackets: one normal and one half-crispy. Additionally there’ll be a set of interchangeable hands, a pistol, Two-Face’s trademark coin, and a display base. This one should be releasing late 2008 / early 2009.

Hot Toys unveiled their Michael Jackson 12″ figure not long ago, and now they’re following it up with this series of… 3″ Cosbabies? Implications and innuendo aside, there will be 7 figures in the series:
- Billie Jean
- History
- Black or White
- Moonwalker
- Thriller (regular)
- Thriller (werewolf)
- SECRET version
I’m almost afraid to ponder what the secret version might be, but I’m hoping for something innocuous like Jackson 5 Michael and not Surgical Mask Michael. These figures are due for release in December.

Medicom is going big with their KISS Bearbricks, and Sideshow Collectibles will be handling the domestic distribution for the 400 percent scale (12″) versions of the Starchild and Demon figures.

The seventh series of action figures based on the Superman / Batman comic series has been revealed by DC Direct. The four characters featured in this line will include:
- Aquaman
- Live Wire
- “Search for Kryptonite” Batman
- “Search for Kryptonite” Superman
All four figures will be available on May 6, 2009.

Deviant Artist Mari Kasurinen has found quite an awesome niche for herself in customizing My Little Ponies into popular characters ranging from Princess Leia to the Joker to Predators and Aliens. I’ve had photos of the awesome 12″ scale Batmobile, Bad Pod, and Joker Bank Robber figure on here in the past, but those previews all were for the Asian releases. Now we have new info about a confirmed domestic release for all of these. DC Direct will be handling the domestic distribution for all of these, with the Joker hitting stores on December 17, the Bat Pod coming on February 25, and the Batmobile coming on March 18.

Hot Toys is adding the King of Pop to their line of 12″ action figures with their upcoming Michael Jackson collectible. The figure features Michael in his Billie Jean / History Tour outfit and comes with a microphone and stand, as well as several sets of interchangeable hands, including that one essential glove. He’s slated for an Asian release in December.

The ill fated captain of the Tantive IV blockade runner from Star Wars: A New Hope now is up for preorder as a new addition to Sideshow Collectibles’ Star Wars 12″ line. He comes with all the detail you’ve come to expect from Sideshow, along with a removable helmet and interchangeable hands. He’ll be shipping out in the first quarter of 2009.
